• MEET HELEN DARDIK: I am a professional illustrator, painter, and surface pattern designer based in Ottawa, Canada. Vibrant, folksy, playful toomuchery is a perfect way to describe my style. Born by the Black Sea, I lived in Siberia for a time and then moved to Israel, where I studied art and design. In the early nineties I relocated to Canada, where I got a graphic design degree and found work as a designer and illustrator.
  
  I have a studio in my house… but I mostly live and work inside my head.
