Originally developed for early Apollo Missions, this “space treat” is frozen to -40 degree F, then vacuum-dried and placed in special peggable polyfoil pouch. Freeze dried foods are used by astronauts eating under weightless conditions in space. Inner wrapper is split to facilitate processing. Ready to eat no refrigeration required.
