Information - FAQ
This scientifically iconic lamp was designed by Nikola Tesla in 1894 during his experiments with high-voltage currents. Through the use of electrical discharges, the plasma ball showcases its unique properties, which can be controlled by the user's fingertips. The spherical globe contains mostly noble gases, such as neon, argon, and xenon, with a high-frequency alternating current electrode at its center. When activated, the electrode creates excited filaments that are drawn towards the point of contact.
The globe operates on AC power and has a diameter of 15cm. It makes the perfect gift for science enthusiasts of all ages, offering a mesmerizing experience.
