PAPO strove to reproduce all its peculiarities: its three horns, large legs and a muzzle with a beak called "parrot" which allowed him to easily tear grass and leaves. The little one will develop his horns as he grows. They will lengthen but will also curve forward. This quadruped, reminiscent of the rhinoceros, lived in North America during the Upper Cretaceous period, at the same period as the dreaded Tyrannosaurus of which it was the prey. It measured between 7.9 and 9 meters long and reached 3 meters in height.
Papo is the benchmark in the world of figurines. They are made with astonishing degrees of realism. Extreme care taken with product quality and safety. In an age of mass consumption, and throwaway goods, Papo hand-paints and produces fine toys that last over time and can be passed on from generation to generation.
